Myra’s digital congress booth

At Myra’s virtual booth, visitors will receive the latest information, exclusive reports, white papers, and business insights on IT security and industry-specific DDoS protection systems for the finance & insurance, government, critical infrastructure, and healthcare sectors.

The threats situation posed by cybercrime has worsened significantly since the start of the corona pandemic. The increased use of remote work and the accelerated transformation of analog business processes have massively increased the attack surface of companies, government agencies, and other organizations. Cybercriminals know how to exploit this development to their own ends, as can be clearly seen from the increasing number of attacks. The number and complexity of DDoS attacks in particular have increased significantly. this is being reported by investigative and supervisory agencies as well as industry representatives alike. Impacted organizations now face the challenge of securing their business processes in a reliable and compliant manner – in the shortest time possible.

Human vulnerability or human firewall?

A central theme of IT security, which will also be discussed in detail at the BSI congress, is the solution-oriented inclusion of people in digital processes. Technology alone is only able to provide a certain degree of protection in the digital realm. Phishing, social engineering, whaling, doxing, and many other forms of cybercrime target human vulnerability. This is why holistic concepts, based on security-by-design principles, address security-related problem areas by taking equal account of software, hardware, and the users themselves. Only awareness and experience can ensure that man and machine work together at the highest level. Myra is committed to this approach and combines cutting-edge technology with a competent team of experts to meet the strictest requirements in highly regulated industries.
