Resilient and digitally sovereign in the public sector
The Challenge
The District of Regensburg operates numerous digital services – from citizen portals to infrastructure and specialist applications. In times of increasingly sophisticated DDoS attacks, bot-waves and targeted web exploits, the challenge was to ensure continuous availability, high performance, and legal compliance (e.g., GDPR, critical infrastructure regulations) simultaneously. Internal resources were limited, which required a flexible, effective security model.

We do not want any critical dependencies on non-European providers and rely on tested, certified security from Germany."
The implementation

Implementation was carried out while operations were ongoing, without interrupting the digital services. Within a short time Myra Security was fully integrated – including automated attack detection, TLS/SSL automation and monitoring. During a real attack wave, the protection achieved over 99% blocked malicious requests, while user access remained uninterrupted. At the same time the new setup significantly reduced the internal IT team’s workload.

Effective defense against DDoS, bot, and web attacks across 150+ domains – ensuring continuous service availability.

Automated security mechanisms relieve the IT team and ensure uninterrupted protection 24/7
