"Myra Minds" – the New Podcast for Cyber Resilience and Digital Responsibility

Myra Security is launching the podcast “Myra Minds.” The host of the new format is Christof Klaus, Director of Global Network Defense at Myra Security. “Myra Minds” (German only) offers a platform for professional exchange between leading experts from science, business, politics, and practice. The goal is to present complex topics in an understandable way and provide impetus for the further development of the IT security landscape.

In the first episode, Christof Klaus talks to Prof. Dr. Dennis-Kenji Kipker, Research Director at cyberintelligence.insitute, about 

  • Digital sovereignty as a strategic necessity

  • IT compliance amid the tension between regulation and practice

  • Risks associated with selecting providers and their impact on security

 

Kipker and Klaus highlight in particular why Germany and Europe must now focus more on local and sovereign protection solutions in order to effectively counter the growing threats in cyberspace.

As PR & Communications Manager, Nicolas Armer is responsible for public relations and the development of communication strategies. Prior to this, he worked as a PR consultant at the Munich-based agency Akima Media, where he primarily worked with international clients in the cyber security and data management industries.

 

Nicolas began his professional career as a soldier in the German army. He then completed a traineeship at the German Press Agency (dpa), which laid the foundation for his career in journalism. As a photojournalist, he worked for German and English-language media as well as for well-known companies for over eight years, reporting from various parts of the world. Today, Nicolas devotes himself to stories from cyberspace, undoubtedly one of the fastest-changing fields today.
