The long-standing executive brings more than 15 years of channel experience and extensive expertise in building international partner programs to the role. Buljubasic has worked for ProntoForms and spent more than ten years at Fortinet in Canada. There, he not only built new sales and channel teams, but also developed and managed the important enterprise, public, and federal sectors. Most recently, he was Vice President of Sales at INSA Corp., where he was responsible for building the enterprise market and team.

“I have always been a channel-first advocate,” explains Buljubasic. “Myra is currently aligning its ‘Alliance’ channel program with the needs of international partners. I can bring all my experience to bear here, and at a very exciting time. Our study on digital sovereignty shows how urgently Europe needs to advance its own technologies in order to reduce dependencies. In fact, we are currently receiving many inquiries about our solutions from numerous countries. Being able to help shape this technological movement within Europe in my new role is an exciting task and a real opportunity.“

”With Amer, we are gaining a true expert in the international partner market,“ says Paul Kaffsack, co-founder of Myra Security. ”The channel plays a central role in our expansion strategy. Amer understands the requirements of partner programs, both from an OEM and a reseller perspective. Combined with his many years of international experience, this will not only strengthen our network, but also our channel offering in the long term."

Digital Sovereignty: Between Aspiration and Reality

The importance of digital sovereignty is regularly emphasized in expert circles and politics. However, the study “State of Digital Sovereignty 2025” commissioned by Myra Security shows that there is a glaring gap between the stated claims and actual practice.

  • German companies are heavily dependent on US service providers, particularly in the areas of cloud services and IT security.

  • Less than a quarter already use European cloud services.

  • IT decision-makers often underestimate their own dependence on non-European providers.
